As I sit here on my back porch, grilling up some burgers, drinking a nice cold beer and smoking a good cigar, I can’t help but contemplate what my future would be like under a Democrat controlled Washington.
Maybe they will determine that I make too much money, tax the hell out of me and I will have to resort to eating soy-burgers, cheap Mexican beer and a Swisher Sweet. Perhaps I won’t start up my own company as my wife and I would like for fear I will become “rich” and once I start making serious money I’ll get taxed and end up no better than I am now (financially anyway).
Or maybe the very thought of my great country turning into a socialist, political power hungry shit hole will really fire me up to become more politically active. I even entertained the thought of running for office someday in the future, to which my wife surprisingly agreed to.
Either way, I worry for our children and for us. While Hillary Clinton being president certainly worried me, Obama being president downright scares the death. Perhaps my children and one day grandchildren won’t know what it was like to be American once this terrorist supporting president gets into office. And that saddens me deeply.
I suppose the only good thing to come out of it is that I will have lots of material to blog about, but even that isn’t very comforting.

For some reason the link for your blog won’t work in my blog roll. It works fine when I click on it, but it says I must provide a feed when I click on your blog on the blogroll. Any idea what’s going on?

The link is pointing to my RSS feed instead of the actual site URL
