The house republican leader John Boehner has finally brought up the ACORN debacle and its ties to democrats and Fannia Mae.
It is about time someone stood up and said something at the top. First the democrats tried to sneak the 20% profit gem into the bailout package which really ended up having the counter effect of highlighting ACORN to the masses (or those that wanted to listen).
The big question of course is will McCain and Palin take up this fight in the next week and in particular during the next debate. We all know the MSM won’t say a word about this, and Palin bringing it up in rally isn’t going to help a whole lot either. The MSM will just not mention it or twist it around as some smear. However, if McCain brings it up during the debate, you have 10’s of millions of viewers who can hear it straight without the press mucking it up.
Let’s hope John has the balls to say it to Obama’s face…
