I have rant and raved for many years about everything stupid people do and say, mostly to wife. Well, she told me I needed an outlet and so here it is, my logical take on just how dumb people really are.
From politics, laws, religion and everyday life, people as a whole are pretty much idiots. Not necessarily individuals — although there are those as well –, but it is amazing how ignorant and idiotic groups of people can really be. So here on this site, I will tell all about it.
My goal is not to intentionally offend anyone, unless otherwise noted… Having said that, we humans tend to get offended pretty easily and it has gotten worse in modern times as “political correctness” gets thrown around like a great censorship campaign.
Very little of what I will post will be based on emotion, but rather based on observation and in most cases facts that can be traced. As mentioned I primarily focus on groups of people as I tend to believe that most individuals are generally of sound mind, but the group or groups they associate with are completely out there. If that offends you, well so be it. Don’t come back to this site, don’t make some stupid reply to one of my articles as it will just mark you as an irrational person with a closed mind.
If you choose to come back, great! If you are of like mind or have a rational, logical rebuttal to something I have to say, by all means let me know. If I am wrong in some assessment or in citing some fact I have no problems admitting it. You and I may not see eye to eye on some issue and that is OK too. It doesn’t mean that you are wrong and I am right, and as long as you respond in a reasonable manner I will respect your opinion.
If you can’t do any of that, well tough shit. Have a nice day.
As for who I am, well I’m not a republican and not a democrat. I despise the whole political party system. You could say I’m an independent but I rather think of myself as just an American. That is the only label I will accept. Oh yea, that isn’t a hyphenated American either, no German-American, African-American, Native-American, Swedish-American or any other form of second status American. I was born and raised in America and I do not have dual citizenship so therefore I am only an American.
I am also not an atheist nor a satanist. I do believe in God, just not religions as a whole.
I am not rich, nor am I poor. I have gone from middle class to below poverty back to middle class. I don’t despise the rich for being rich, hey it is America and everyone has the right to the American dream. For some that might be being wealthy and more power to them. Maybe someday I will join them.
I am very much patriotic, to the point that I actually get choked up when the national anthem is played. Both my father and I have been in the military and I have a lot of respect for those in uniform. Which means that I also can’t stand those that wear the uniform with badges of rank or unit insignias that have never served.
So, there you go. Me.
