How to solve Iraq
icon1 Annoyed | icon2 Foreign Affairs | icon4 10 31st, 2006| icon3No Comments »

While I’m not one of these anti-Iraq, it’s all Bush’s fault, point-the-finger-at-republicans idiots you see a lot on TV and such, Iraq is still quite the mess. If you look at the situation closely though it isn’t really our (meaning Americans) fault, it is the religious wackos over there that are the problem. They have gone from primarily targeting and fighting us to killing each other. We just happen to get in the way. In a situation like that there is only so much we can do militarily.

While the republicans are pretty much following the party line on the matter, only a small handful of democrats are offering any ideas for what to do. They range everything from pulling out completely to symbolically pulling out. Well, I’ve come up with my own idea on how to solve this.

The main reason at the moment to stay is to keep Iraq from collapsing from all of the infighting between the Suni’s, Shi’ites and Kurds and the whole region erupting into a war. So here is what we do, we take our troops out of the cities and stop playing hide and seek with these Qur’an thumping, virgin seeking rag heads. We take the troops and basically surround the country, putting them primarily on the Iranian and Syrian borders. We then add backup troops in Saudi and Turkey (where we have them anyway). Of course we provide a nice wall of firepower around the oil facilities as well.

Once we do that, we them have the civil war that they are so determined to have. Every new country needs a good civil war to get out the bullshit and release their chest thumping tensions. Our troops would only be there then to keep everyone else from interfering and influencing the outcome, thus preventing the whole region from becoming one big war zone. Not one camel gets across the border and not one magic carpet flies into Iraq until they are done knocking each other off.

Now, once they have killed enough of each other and decided that they want to live in peace, we let them reestablish their government — overseeing everything of course to make sure they aren’t just playing around — and make ammends. Everyone shakes hands, smiles for the cameras, the infidels have a beer and all is well in the middle east. HOWEVER, if they can’t come to a reasonable outcome and are still fighting over which version of rag to wear then we start knocking off whatever bad guys are left, starting at the top, until they become reasonable.

If they still won’t submit, then we divide the country up and give one third to Turkey (the Kurds will love that), one third to Saudi Arabia, and one third to Jordan. Of course we tell them that this will be the outcome before hand so that they will have motivation to calm down and act like the civil people their core religion says they are.

In any event, our troops stay out of the way other than to prevent outside influence. They get a nice rest and play ring masters instead of cops. Also, given their concentrated positions, they can easily redeploy as necessary to say Korea.

If all goes well, we are out of there in a year or so with very minimal to no casualities and we don’t spend another couple of billion on ammo, fuel, etc. chasing these guys around the sand. Even better, we round up the good Iraqi people that have small businesses and such, take them to a nice safe haven and provide them with food and shelter while their deranged countrymen beat each other up. When the fighting is done, we help them rebuild their businesses and homes that were destroyed. In the end, they either have a peaceful, productive country or they have no country at all.

Hell, it might even piss of Iran enough that they get twitchy and we can take care of that problem while we are there. Or they might realize that several regiments of U.S. tanks on their border isn’t a good thing and stop playing games with their nuclear program.

The Democrats have got to be spooging in the drawers over Michael J. Fox’s commercial on stem cell research. Here is an actor that, ironically, used to play a republican saying that a Missourian congressman and republicans oppose stem cell research.

What Mike doesn’t say however is that the republicans don’t overwhelmingly oppose stem cell research, they oppose federal funding of embrionic stem cell research. They just don’t think the government should fund using cells from embroys.

It is a shame that MJF is selectively phrasing things to benefit one party or the other to further his own agenda. He could easily have pushed his cause in a non-partisan matter, but no, he had to leave out the facts and naturally the Democrats are eating it up.

What really pisses me off though are the idiots that will sit at home, see Mikey bounce around in his chair and without even looking into the issue and think that the big bad republicans don’t care about people like him. Shame on them and shame on Michael.

I saw today on the news how some 80% of Americans believe the minimum wage should be raised from its current 5.15 an hour. Why? What good does this actually do for anybody, except the small handful of people that won’t try to get a better job. The Department of Labor says that half of minimum wage workers are under 25. I have read other studies that have shown that the vast majority of people making the minimum wage don’t stay at the wage for more than a year. What do they do? They get jobs that pay more money. So again, what benefit will raising the minimum wage do? Well it will make people feel better about saying “I voted for raising the minimum wage” and that is about it.

According to the proponent of minimum wage increases on the news, 15 million “families” are at the minimum wage level. Hmm… so 5% of Americans are at the minimum wage and this is a national crisis? If you take out the millions that are kids working while in school, summer jobs, etc., then take out the majority that don’t stay in the low paying job for more than a year, you will have, oh say 3 or 4 million people still making $5.15 an hour. These people don’t have the drive or initiative to go and find a better job are supposed to be rewarded for their laziness? I always grew up thinking that the American dream was to make a life for yourself that you wanted, that you established, worked for and fought for, however it seems that the American dream is slowing becoming a handout. More and more people don’t want to strive for success, they want a handout from the government to cover their lack of will to succeed.

What is worse about these losers is the majority of jobs that most people would think pay the minimum, fast food, actually pay more than the minimum wage. So some kid flipping burgers at McDonalds, Wendys or Burger King is making more money than the loser making minimum wage. What is wrong with this story? If you are making the minimum wage for more than a year, shame on you. Get off your ass and get a better job. Plain and Simple. If you put as much energy into bettering yourself and getting a better job as you do whining, imagine what you could accomplish. Hell, with all your experience whining and spouting bullshit you could even go into politics and make some real money from handouts.

In browsing around the global news, I came across this real gem: Father Pulls Gun on Football Coach Over Sons Playing Time

Ahh yes, the joys of being a dickless moron. This jerkoff must have either gone through life thinking that football is the ultimate high, or was never picked for the team himself. Now his poor 7 year old son has to learn early on that when one grows up without any self esteem, one must live through their 1st grade children. Seriously, how far must a corncob be stuffed up your ass to get this bent out of shape over 1st grade football?

Two things are going to happen to this kid. First he is going to grow up with the emotional baggage of his father. He will always be struggling to get his father’s acceptance which of course will never happen. Second, he will one day show up in his highschool and decide to take his daddy’s gun and start shooting his classmates. After all, it is them that is the reason why he doesn’t get enough play time.

Who knows, maybe daddy isn’t getting laid enough by mommy and since his peepee was too small to stroke he brought the big gun to shoot off. Not only must he contend with himself not being good enough for anything, he must contend with his son not being good enough for 1st grade football. The poor agony of it just makes me want to puke.

In this article Marcela Sanchez talks about the relativity of poverty for illegal immigrants. While I thought the article touched on some good points, it completely fell into stupidity with her final statement “and with that they are doing more than anyone else to stem the future flow of immigration.” I want what she is smoking! Does she really think that because some illegals are sending home a few bucks that others aren’t going to come? Be real here, if I have a brother who is working in Canada and makes several hundred times what I do and sends me a few bucks, is that going to make me not want to go? Hell no, I’m going to make those bucks myself.

And those few bucks that they are sending home? Some 45 billion dollars. If that isn’t foreign aid I don’t know what is. I can’t imagine how many tacos that buys, but I’ll bet it is quite a bit. The democrats keep saying that the recently passed legislation for building the wall on the border has no funding, well I have a solution. We take whatever foreign we were giving to Mexico and use that. I’ve seen numbers in the 11-20 million range. That may not be enough, but with 45 billion going their way they won’t miss it. Then we up the taxes on those businesses that hire illegals by double. No proof of your employees residence or right to work, and you pay out the ass for taxes to build a wall to keep their buddies home. I’ll be it would get funded within a year.

Poor old Jimmy thinks that Bush has undone all the great negotiating that he did with the North Koreans. Even if that were true, he is the last person who should be opening up his trap. Seriously, coming from a man whose presidence is only remembered by the hostages that were taken, not to mention the slap in the face when those hostages were released as soon as Reagan took office, this guy doesn’t have too much to credibility.

Perhaps he should stick to what he does best, making houses for the poor. Better yet, why don’t we send mr. diplomat back to Korea for another shot? It might go something like this:

“Hello Mr. Reasonable Dictator”

“Hello house builder.”

“uhh, OK, I know you didn’t hold up your end of the deal last time so I’m here to get this worked out once and for all.”

“What deal? Oh yea that one. Hey, tell Bill thanks for the millions he sent.”

“I’ll do that…”

“And tell him I liked Monica, but he should have gotten a bigger joy brigade, like mine!”

“Mr. Reasonable Dictator, can we get back to the issue at hand?”

“Sure, sure. What are you going to give me this time?”

“I’ll tell you what, if you say that this is all Bush’s fault and if we promise to elect a democrat for president I’ll come back and build new houses for the millions and millions of poor people in your country.”

“Hmm… will you pay for all of the construction?”

“But of course.”

“Deal.”

A new radio ad campaign by a group of black republicans is pushing the idea that the democrat’s abortion policies are what is killing low income black babies through abortions. Instead of trying to help these welfare mommas keep their legs closed and get a better job they want them to be pissed off at the democrats for allowing them to have an abortion. Is that fucked up or what?

It is bad enough that these ads were even conceived, let alone that people are so unwilling to take personal responsibility that they will blame someone else for it. The spokesperson for this compaign said he wanted to shock the black community so that they will look into the policies of the democrats and consider a republican candidate. This jerkoff is willing to use fear and outright despicable tactics to get it done. Shame on him and shame on the ignorant idiots who end up believing it.

Uhh, ya think?? Since when HASN’T a senator taken bribes to help out their benefactors? Isn’t that what politics is all about? This is supposed to be news? Is it only news because he is a republican? Surely not.

Here is the best part, Ney says “I accept responsibility for my actions and I am prepared to face the consequences of what I have done.”

Congratulations, you get a cookie.

Voting Arizona
icon1 Annoyed | icon2 Government | icon4 10 13th, 2006| icon3No Comments »

Arizona is proving that the will of the people means jack shit. They recently voted into law that a bill that requires photo identification in order to register to vote (or cast a vote I can’t rememer at the moment). Applause all around, good job.

So what happens? Well some idiots decided that this was way too restrictive for senior citizens, students and the poor. Excuse me? How the hell is showing a photo id too restrictive for anyone other than the illegal aliens it was designed to keep out? How many of these senior citizens don’t have a photo ID? Have they not been driving since there was a horse pulling a buggy?

The poor? If you can’t take part of that welfare check or stack up those quarters you peddled on the corner and get a damn state ID or drivers license then you either don’t care to vote or shouldn’t vote anyway. It will cost you what, 4 or 5 packs of cigarettes?

The students? Are you kidding me? The first thing they want is a driver’s license.

Is all of this really too difficult? Get off your ass and get a damn ID if you really want to vote. And while you are at it, smack one of these idiots that have nothing better to do than go against the wishes of the people.

I can’t leave out the two judges that have apparently put this bill on hold were put into office by democrats. The state is going to take it to the supreme court and I hope they kick ass doing it.

All over the news is the big headline about the poor yankee pitcher that plowed his plane into a 50 story building. Ummm, what about the instructor? How come no one gives a shit about him? We all have to cry because this moron that throws little white balls for a few million a year can’t seem to miss a 50 story building? I wonder if the last thing going through his mind were all those jokes about hitting the broad side of a barn, and thinking “I’m going to do one better than that!” Maybe he should have paid better attention in class when the instructor said “Don’t hit anything!”.

Speaking of the others, what about the people who had their apartments wrecked? I think they should sue the yankees and have them refurbished with some nice shit.
